Madonna For Triptych

I’m not sure which of these 2 images I will use in the Triptych for “Windows on Queen,” Characters Pub in Lancaster, PA. Perhaps readers can help me decide. Please go to “Comments,” at the bottom of this post and post your decision, #1, or #2. Actually, if you are first to vote it will say, "no comments." And, thanks for the help.

Madonna #1

Madonna #2

I personally like the one that zeroes in on her eyes, nose and mouth as these are her most recognizable features. However, I know that the ¾ view is more iconic.

Please do not consider my comments in making your decision.

I like #1, especially because it is quite different from your earlier GATSBY and STREEP. (I wish they could be displayed close to each other at CHARACTERS, but... evidently not!

Number 1. You're right, it's more iconic.

I would prefer to sit at a table beside (or across from) number 1.

I like #1 also. The shading and coloring for her lips make them look real. I like the detail on the eyes in #2 but overall I am choosing #1 also for diversity sake.

Such a difficult choice! I think #1...all subtleties and gorgeous hair! Her eyes in #2 are amazing though...
your talent is stunning, John!

I like #2 best.

Number 1 is my pick, John.

John, I like #2 best because it shows the iconic gap in her teeth and thus her personality. The first is pretty but the second is in your face Madonna.

Without a doubt, the striking image on top is a perfect balance to your Meryl Streep painting, good luck with it!
